According to reports, TCS will now link hikes and variable payouts for employees to their adherence to the return-to-office policy. Grades necessary for promotions will be contingent upon employees’ track records of working from the office. Moreover, TCS is extending digital compensation to freshers who have completed specified courses, making them eligible for higher salaries beyond the standard annual compensation of ₹3 lakh. However, compliance with the return-to-office policy will serve as a prerequisite for the approval of these cases.
