An undated video has gone viral showing enraged passengers of an Indigo flight demanding answers from ground staff over a significant delay in their flight’s departure. The footage, reportedly filmed at Mumbai Airport, captures the tense moments as a group of frustrated passengers confronted the airline representatives after their flight was canceled without prior notice.

According to the passengers, they were left waiting for hours inside the aircraft without any communication from the airline regarding the delay or cancellation. The video features a male passenger yelling at a staff member, exclaiming, “Aap kya kar rahe ho?” (“What are you doing?”) while waving his hand in the staffer’s face.

Two women joined in the protest, with one accusing the staff of “only passing the time,” and questioning why the passengers had not been informed of the delay. “Aap sirf time pass kar rahe ho,” she said, adding that the entire plane had been waiting since 9 AM for take-off. Another passenger chimed in, expressing disbelief that other flights were departing while theirs remained grounded. “All other planes are taking off. Why is this one not flying?” she asked.

The man continued to voice his frustration, emphasizing that Indigo staff should have kept passengers updated about the situation. The chaotic scene has garnered thousands of views on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where many users sided with the passengers.

“The poor passengers have no option but to be aggressive because none listens to them. Five hours delay is too much for a flight of 1-2 hours,” commented one user. Another added, “Service industry employees face countless difficult clients, and it’s commendable how they stay composed under pressure.”

Many users expressed sympathy for the airline staff, suggesting that the real target of the passengers’ anger should be the airline’s upper management. “I feel sorry for those air hostesses! People should understand that there is nothing in their hands!” remarked another X user.

This incident is part of a larger trend of growing frustration among travelers facing delays and cancellations in the aviation sector. Recently, an Indigo flight between Mumbai and Qatar was delayed by over five hours, with passengers already on board being asked to exit and wait at the airport.
