Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, is confronting a growing security concern as an unidentified individual has sent him a third threatening email, this time demanding a staggering ₹400 crore. This latest development comes within just four days, following two previous threat emails, further intensifying concerns for Ambani’s safety and the security of his company.

The Mumbai police reported that the threat email was received by Ambani’s company on Monday. According to officials, this marks the third such email to target Ambani within a span of just four days, raising serious alarm.

The series of threats commenced with an email demanding ₹20 crore, which prompted the industrialist’s security in-charge to file a complaint at Gamdevi police station. The first email was received on Friday and was sent by an unidentified person.

On the subsequent day, the company was again targeted with a threat email, this time seeking ₹200 crore. The escalation in the demands was alarming, as the sender doubled the figure compared to the initial threat.

In response to this alarming situation, the Mumbai police, along with their crime branch and cyber teams, are working diligently to trace the sender of these threatening emails. The urgency of the situation is evident, and authorities are actively engaged in efforts to identify the person or group behind these threats and ensure Mukesh Ambani’s safety.

This recent string of threats is reminiscent of a similar incident last year when Mumbai police arrested an individual from Bihar’s Darbhanga. The arrested individual had made death threat calls to Mukesh Ambani and his family members, in addition to threats to blow up the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. These incidents highlight the critical importance of ensuring the security and safety of prominent figures in India.
