“Mahindra XUV700 Achieves 2 Lakh Units Production Milestone in Under Three Years”

The Mahindra XUV700 has achieved a significant production milestone, with over 2 lakh units manufactured in India in less than three years since its launch. This remarkable achievement highlights the vehicle’s popularity and strong demand among Indian SUV enthusiasts.

The first 100,000 units of the XUV700 were produced within 21 months, and the next 100,000 units took just 33 months in total to roll out. To celebrate this milestone, Mahindra has introduced two new color options for the XUV700: Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna, with the latter being exclusive to the XUV700. This brings the total number of available colors to nine.

The XUV700 has been a hit due to its solid road presence, impressive features, and practicality. It boasts several segment-first features, including Alexa integration, level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a 26.03 cm dual HD screen that functions as both an instrument console and a touchscreen infotainment system.

Safety has been a strong selling point for the XUV700, which has earned a 5-star crash test rating from Global NCAP and holds the highest combined safety rating for occupant protection in its segment. In January 2024, Mahindra launched an updated version of the XUV700 with added features like ventilated front seats and memory ORVMs.

Responding to the strong demand, Mahindra has expanded its production capacity to reduce waiting times and ensure faster deliveries for customers. The XUV700 is priced between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹24.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

With its blend of advanced features, safety ratings, and customer appeal, the XUV700 continues to be a standout choice in the Indian SUV market.
