Gurugram-based real estate giant DLF has made waves yet again in the luxury housing market, stunning industry observers by selling over 1,000 opulent housing units ahead of the official launch of its Privana South project. The company disclosed that this pre-launch phase amassed a staggering ₹7,200 crore in sales within a mere 72 hours, showcasing a fervent demand for premium residential offerings.

Spanning approximately 25 acres in Gurugram’s Sectors 76 and 77, DLF’s Privana South proved to be an instant hit, echoing the success of their prior high-rise luxury project, The Arbour, which raked in over ₹8,000 crore in pre-formal launch sales back in 2023.
The enclave, comprising 1,113 luxurious residences spread across seven towers, is tailored to offer affluent 4 BHK apartments and penthouses. Positioned within the larger development of DLF Privana, covering around 116 acres in the same sectors, this project promises picturesque views of the Aravalli Range and proximity to the expansive upcoming Safari Park sprawling over 10,000 acres.
Aakash Ohri, DLF Home Developers Ltd.’s Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer, expressed pride in the swift sellout, attributing it to the burgeoning demand for high-rise luxury living synonymous with the esteemed DLF lifestyle. Ohri highlighted the deliberate measures taken to deter bulk bookings, limiting each buyer to one unit and requiring a booking amount of ₹50 lakh, significantly higher than the industry standard of ₹10 lakh. Notably, around 25% of the sales came from Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
Privana South, envisioned as a benchmark in luxury living, is strategically positioned at the convergence of key routes, including the Southern Peripheral Road, NH-48, NPR (Dwarka Expressway), and CPR, ensuring easy access to pivotal city hubs and beyond. Surrounded by a thriving infrastructure encompassing offices, schools, premium hotels, and golf courses, the project aims to redefine luxury living in the region.
Crafted by ARCOP, the project’s design accentuates opulence, featuring expansive decks and lofty floor-to-floor heights to offer panoramic views of the Aravalli Range and the vibrant Gurugram skyline. Purposeful design elements, including a 472-meter frontage along a 60-meter sector road, aim to optimize air circulation, natural light, and connectivity, as stated in the company’s regulatory filing.
