During her tenure, Deepti conducted psychosocial assessments to identify mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma related stress, emotional distress, stigma associated pressure, and substance related challenges.
She also provided individualized counseling sessions focused on emotional wellbeing, behavioral support, treatment adherence, and emotional resilience.
Her role included conducting pre,test and post,test counseling for HIV testing while ensuring confidentiality, emotional sensitivity, and informed decision making throughout the process.
In addition to counseling responsibilities, Deepti collaborated closely with physicians, healthcare professionals, and social workers to create patient centered emotional care approaches that addressed both medical and psychological wellbeing.
She further participated in professional training sessions, clinical discussions, and mental health awareness initiatives organized by the Department of Medicine, Delhi AIDS Control Society, and National AIDS Control Organisation.
