Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has once again targeted Ola Electric and its founder, Bhavish Aggarwal, demanding a clear “public plan” to address ongoing customer complaints regarding the company’s after-sales service. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Kamra criticized Ola Electric for not disclosing any plans to issue refunds or resolve the backlog of customer grievances. “Ola electric hasn’t disclosed any plan to issue refunds or put an end date to current customer complaints. We don’t even know if there is a plan… All I can do is let @bhash know that he has to put out a public plan which doesn’t include employing me,” he wrote.

The latest exchange is part of a series of confrontations that erupted earlier this month between Kamra and Aggarwal over Ola’s customer service quality. The feud intensified when Kamra responded to a post by Aggarwal, which featured a photo of Ola’s gigafactory, by sharing an image of multiple Ola Electric scooters waiting for servicing.

In response, Aggarwal dismissed Kamra’s critique, labeling him a “failed stand-up comic” and accusing him of making a “paid post.” He asserted that Ola Electric is rapidly expanding its service network and would soon address all service backlogs.

The ongoing controversy coincides with a significant drop in Ola Electric Mobility’s stock prices. Following the public spat, shares of the company fell by 6% on October 8, reaching 85.21 apiece, marking the fourth consecutive session of losses on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This decline came after the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) issued a show cause notice to Ola for alleged violations related to misleading advertisements and unfair trade practices.

As the public dialogue between Kamra and Aggarwal continues, it reflects growing concerns among customers regarding Ola Electric’s service and the broader implications for the company’s reputation and stock performance.
