Karnataka’s Nandini Milk Prices Rise by ₹2/Litre, Includes Additional 50ml per Packet

In addition to the price adjustment, each 500ml and one-litre packet of Nandini milk will now contain an extra 50ml, a move aimed at providing added value to consumers. The decision to increase prices comes in response to the current harvest cycle, leading to increased milk storage across all district unions of KMF.
KMF defended the price hike by highlighting that even after the revision, Nandini milk prices remain comparatively lower than those of other cooperative and commercial milk brands in major states across India.
The recent increase has drawn criticism from political quarters, with opposition leaders expressing concern over the impact on the already distressed poor and middle-class segments. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, R. Ashoka, criticized the move, linking it to past national emergencies.
Meanwhile, the state BJP president, BY Vijayendra, took a strong stance against the Congress government, stating that such decisions undermine the government’s moral authority.
The latest prices for Nandini milk are as follows:
- Blue packet milk (Toned milk): ₹42 to ₹44 per litre.
- Blue packet (Homogenized toned milk): ₹43 to ₹45 per litre.
