Expressing gratitude for his windfall, Khan stated that the timing of the prize could not have been more significant for him. Being the sole bread earner for his family, he recently faced a personal tragedy when his brother passed away during the pandemic. Now, with the added financial support, Khan can also assist his late brother’s family. Additionally, he has aged parents and a young daughter, making the prize money a timely and invaluable blessing.
Recalling his reaction upon receiving the momentous news, Khan expressed genuine surprise. Even his family found it hard to believe initially, urging him to double-check the authenticity of the announcement.
