The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of Cindy Rodriguez Singh, who is wanted for the alleged murder of her 6-year-old son. Rodriguez Singh, who has ties to both India and Mexico, has been missing since March 2023, with authorities seeking her in connection to a tragic case that has drawn significant attention.

Rodriguez Singh’s son has not been seen alive since October 2022. The case came to light when the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requested a welfare check on March 20, 2023. During this check, Rodriguez Singh reportedly misled officers, claiming that her son was residing with his biological father in Mexico, a statement that was later proven false.

On March 22, 2023, Rodriguez Singh, her husband, and six other children were observed boarding an international flight to India. Authorities later confirmed that her missing son did not accompany them on the flight. This discrepancy led to Rodriguez Singh being charged with capital murder on October 31, 2023, by the District Court of Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas.

Following these charges, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Rodriguez Singh on November 2, 2023, by the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. The warrant included a charge of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.

Dallas FBI Special Agent in Charge Chad Yarbrough has called for public assistance in locating Rodriguez Singh, emphasizing the significance of the case. “Cindy Rodriguez Singh is wanted for allegedly murdering her own young son,” Yarbrough stated. “I am confident that the combination of publicity, significant reward offering, and the team of experienced investigators will lead to her arrest.”

Rodriguez Singh, born in Dallas, Texas, in 1985, is described as being between 5 feet, 1 inch and 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing between 120 and 140 pounds. She has a medium complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair, with numerous tattoos on her back, legs, arms, and right hand.

The FBI, alongside the Everman Police Department, Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, and Texas Department of Public Safety, is actively seeking leads in the case. The public is urged to provide any information that could aid in her capture.
