Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) recently witnessed the launch of the Ana Massool campaign, an initiative by Telal in collaboration with AFZ and Infinity Production House. Designed to promote cleanliness and accountability, the campaign’s name, which translates to “I am Responsible,” reflects its goal of encouraging individuals to take ownership of their hygiene practices.

The event began with a symbolic gesture where participants tied Ana Massool tags on one another, emphasizing shared responsibility for cleanliness. The act served as a powerful reminder that achieving a clean environment requires collective effort.

PK Abdunnazir, General Manager of Telal Group, delivered an opening address, emphasizing the critical role of cleanliness in maintaining health. “Health is a priority, and cleanliness is its foundation. Through this campaign, we aim to make hygiene a fundamental part of everyone’s daily routine,” he stated. His remarks set the tone for a day filled with impactful discussions.

Mahmoud Ghonaim, Health Specialist at AFZ, shared valuable insights on the health implications of maintaining cleanliness. He explained that poor hygiene often leads to the spread of preventable diseases. “Hygiene practices are simple yet powerful tools for safeguarding our health and well-being,” he emphasized. Mahmoud also encouraged attendees to adopt habits such as regular handwashing, sanitizing shared spaces, and maintaining clean accommodations.

Safety was another critical topic, addressed by Ibrahim Abdouly, Head of Inspections at AFZ. He highlighted the importance of cleanliness in preventing accidents and fostering safer work environments. “Cleanliness is not just about aesthetics; it’s a core component of workplace safety,” he said, urging businesses to incorporate hygiene into their safety protocols.

The campaign’s month-long structure was detailed by Bishruddin, one of the organizers. It is built around four pillars: personal hygiene, order and discipline, health, and safety. Activities include awareness drives, mock inspections, and motivational events designed to educate and engage participants.

Adding vibrancy to the event, staff members presented creative performances and organized games that reinforced the campaign’s message. A short film by Shafeeq served as a practical guide, offering tips for maintaining cleanliness in shared accommodations. Its engaging narrative made complex concepts accessible, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

The event concluded with the distribution of cleanliness kits by Ajman Free Zone, symbolizing their dedication to the campaign’s objectives. The kits included sanitizers, masks, and informational materials, equipping participants with tools to implement hygienic practices.

With a month of engaging activities ahead, the Ana Massool campaign aims to leave a lasting impact on the community, fostering a culture of health, safety, and responsibility.
